Student life

The University strives to become a distinctive internationalised institution in Taiwan.

As the only Taiwanese member of ISEP (International Student Exchange Program) and supported by the worldwide association of Catholic universities, this institution facilitates academic exchange and study abroad programmes for students and faculty, partnering with over 570 partner universities worldwide.

This network is constantly expanding and helps to strengthen the university's unique advantages in the field of outbound and inbound mobility.

Campus life

Providence University helps students to recognize their abilities, affirm their self-worth, and fulfil their potential through the curriculum and campus life.

It instils in its students an understanding that each life has a unique meaning and a mission within the larger human community, fosters a sense of social responsibility, and nurtures them as intellectual individuals who contribute to society.

City of Taichung

"Taichung" means "the centre of Taiwan". Its central location attracts many tourists with its rich cultural resources, historical heritage, natural scenery, unique industries, recreational facilities, vibrant cultural events, diverse culinary experiences, shopping and leisure activities.

With its pleasant climate, Taichung has been repeatedly praised as one of the most livable cities. Since the opening of the high-speed rail, a one-day living circle has formed across Taiwan, making travel much more convenient and efficient. In just a weekend, visitors can explore the natural beauty of Taichung, often referred to as the "backyard garden", and enjoy its exceptional tourism conditions.
