With our IS:link network we want to achieve that both our own and international students have the opportunity to
expand their view of the world and its many different cultures, thus fostering mutual understanding and open exchange that helps to break down existing prejudices
establish friendships that, in the best case scenario, can be drawn upon during their professional careers and
Grow in themselves and expand skills and competencies by stepping out of their comfort zone
Vision
In the future, we will continue to place the greatest emphasis on
the personal growth of the students in our network
eliminating prejudices and misunderstandings between the different countries and cultures that are part of our network and hope to contribute to sustainable peace
Additional important goals are are to increase the number of international students at the University of Duisburg-Essen and the further expansion of the network.
